The Harlequin Group is proud to present Scion, a refreshing British brand which aims to make its own distinctive mark on the world of interior design.
Scion was conceived to fill an obvious gap in the market for an affordable yet uncompromisingly stylish range of interior products. The brand has been created with a trend savvy, fashion aware customer in mind, its products are cutting-edge, accessibly priced and forward looking, but with an enduring appeal and intrinsic individuality.

The debut collection, Melinki, comprises of an eclectic mix of printed fabrics, embroideries, jacquards, co-ordinating plains and complementary wallpapers, inspired in part by mid-century archive documents. Refreshingly uncomplicated yet powerfully effective, Melinki consciously channels fashion motifs and colours, as well as offering more than a passing nod to modern, Scandinavian design.
Melinki bestows the freedom to create a diverse range of moods and looks through its eclectic designs and cool clean colour groups including costal calm, retro kitsch, Bakelite brights and urban neutrals.

The latest collection, Wabi Sabi, is an equally striking and eclectic collection of prints, weaves and wallcoverings, which adheres to the Scion principles of cutting-edge, individual and affordable fabrics and wallcoverings.
Wabi Sabi celebrates the beauty of imperfection, encapsulating the spirit of age-old hand crafted techniques. The 13 fabrics and 10 non-woven wallpaper designs are inspired by traditional methods such as block-printing, shibori, batik and ikat. They appear naive, natural, casual and uncontrived, perhaps even timeworn and weathered, but at the same time they are refreshing and uplifting, in a stunning array of mood-enhancing shades.
Scion is justifiably proud of its British roots: its printed fabrics and wallcoverings are all manufactured in the UK, by factories that have clear commitments and initiative towards the care of the environment and to sustainability.
