If you’re anything like us here at Scion you’ll have your eye on the latest fashion and interior trends!

If so, you will have already spotted that for Summer 2012 one of the hottest colour stories gracing the pages of the consumer glossies is PASTELS.

We’ve put together a few looks to inspire you, using Scion fabrics and wallpapers.

3  Sanderson paints, ‘Desert Gold’ & ‘Peony Pink’

5  Scion Plains Two Fabric, ‘Mosaic’ 140500
6  Scion Plains Two Fabric, ‘Lemonade’ 140511

This combination creates a slightly retro feel but you can keep the look fresh with accents of stronger colours like lime and turquoise. Using bold graphic prints helps to keep it looking contemporary.

6  Plains two Fabric, ‘Marmalade’ 140516
7  Plains two Fabric, ‘Thistle’ 130467

To avoid your room looking too sickly sweet keep it light and airy with plenty of white. Try using white furniture, white painted floorboards or a white wall.

Add a touch of sophistication by mixing soft seafoam and neutrals with an accent of a bold pink.
